Ontology Re-engineering for Personalized Knowledge Management

Abstract

Ontology is to standardize the terminology, meaning and components of the concepts or objects. It helps in 
integrating the knowledge repositories and sharing and reusing the knowledge.  However, different ontology 
may be created from different context or knowledge domain. Different users or organization may have different 
interpretation of the same concept or object. How we can reengineering the ontology and personalized it? In 
this speech, we will discuss the approaches and issues to be considered on ontology re-engineering for 
personalized knowledge management.
